Basic Street Dreams Policies
By ordering from this site, you accept all the terms listed below.
We work hard to make sure everything that leaves here is as perfect as it can be. Word of mouth is our best form of advertisement, so we strive for perfection. However, people and machines are not perfect. With that said, please read our terms below.
Receiving your item(s)
- All items must be inspected once received. Any damage or shortages must be reported within 48 business hours of receipt. No claim will be accepted after 48 hours.
- If there is any damage, you must repackage the item as it was shipped (i.e. plastic, foam, protective cardboard cover), so the shipper can inspect it for reimbursement of the claim. If you do not have all the original packaging, the shipper may refuse to reimburse due to insufficient packaging and you will not get credit for that item. If you do not have the original packaging at all, no claim will be accepted and you will not receive credit for that item.
- Do not install any damaged item(s) or item(s) you want to return. Once you install any item, you are accepting it as is and it will not be returnable or exchangeable. Do not install any item, while waiting to receive a replacement. You install it, you own it.
- Test fit all items before installing, as we do not accept any installed, driven on or used items for return.
- If you are having fitment issues, please contact us first and right away.
- Balance issues must be reported within 10 days of receiving your product. If experiencing vibration or shaking (balance) issues on a wheel and tire package, contact us before you attempt to have someone else check them. We will only reimburse for rebalance when supplied with the receipt and printout from a road force balancer showing the error. You can locate a shop with a road force balancer here.
- Claims of out of round items will not be accepted from a shop not using a road force machine.
- An out of round wheel or tire will be exchanged as a warranted item only, not returned for refund. See warranty information below.
- Keep all packaging until your items are installed and everything is satisfactory.
Return for refund or exchange
- We do not accept returns after 15 days of receipt.
- Only items that have not been installed and/or driven on are eligible for return.
- Special order items are not returnable.
- NO REFUND will be issued until we receive items back in as shipped condition.
Credit amount is calculated as listed below:
- The customer is liable for all shipping costs when returning or exchanging an item unless the item was damaged during shipping.
- Wheels: Total amount less all freight charges incurred by us and less a 10% restocking fee of the total amount. Wheels cannot have had tires mounted on them or been installed on any vehicle. Wheels must be test fit before mounting tires and installing on vehicle.
- Tires: Total amount less all freight charges incurred by us and less a 10% restocking fee of the total amount.
- Wheel & tire package: Total amount less all freight charges incurred by us, less a 10% restocking fee of the total amount and less $50.00 labor fees to dismount, clean and re-box wheels.
- Exchange: All the above applies and the balance remaining will be applied towards the new items being purchased.
- If payment was received by credit card, the refund will be applied to the card used.
- If payment was received by check, money order, cashier’s check or Western Union, we will refund by mailing a check to the billing address.
- If payment was received by Paypal, we will refund thru Paypal unless it is after the 60 days Paypal allows refunds. After the 60 days, we will refund by mailing a check to the billing address less the fees incurred by Paypal.
- Merchandise covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer’s warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Our merchandise is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Being a manufacturer’s warranty, all warranty issues can be handled by any dealer carrying the same brand local to you. We will gladly help you with any warranty issues; however warranties do not cover shipping costs to and from us, nor to and from the manufacturer.
- Item(s) must be returned first for warranty approval before a replacement will be shipped out, unless the customer pays for a replacement. Once warranty is confirmed by manufacturer, purchase price for replacement will be refunded.
- Street Dreams and all affiliates do not express or imply any other warranties for the product we sell.
- Damage caused by road hazards, such as potholes and curbs, are not covered under any manufacturer’s warranty.
